Credit Union Share Insurance now covers IOLTAs: On December 18, 2014, President Obama signed the Credit Union Share Insurance Fund Parity Act, which provides insurance coverage, comparable to FDIC insurance coverage, for funds held in IOLTA accounts at federally insured credit unions.   More information more

Nationwide, over 5,500 financial institutions participate in IOLTA by maintaining IOLTA accounts. The legal profession values this worthwhile partnership with the banking community. In 2011, Wisconsin''s Prime Partners and other IOLTA-participating institutions funded 15 agencies providing civil legal services to individuals and families in need. more
