When people can access legal protections, the community benefits. That's no surprise — legal complexities can be the only thing standing in the way of a stable life situation for a person, or an entire family.
Quantifying this benefit, to the extent possible, is powerful for folks who don't see the impact of this work every day. That's why we commissioned a study on the economic impact of civil legal aid in Wisconsin. We engaged an analytics firm, The Resource for Great Programs, to conduct the study in 2022-2023.
