WisTAF makes one-time grants to help address civil legal needs

Responding to heightened revenue stemming from elevated interest rates, combined with the large amount of unmet civil legal needs among Wisconsin's low-income population, the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Trust Account Foundation awarded and distributed $2 million in one-time Legal Aid Advancement (LAA) grants as follows. The awards were determined at the Board's final meeting of 2023 and distributed thereafter.
