DESCRIPTION
The Wisconsin Trust Account Foundation (WisTAF) is looking for a professional, team-oriented individual to join us in making equal access to justice a reality for all. The Program Coordinator plays a key role in supporting achievement of WisTAF’s strategic goals by providing operational support to the grants and income program managers, and executive director. Duties range from project coordination to administrative and office management activities. This part-time (20 hour per week) position is eligible to work remotely (once trained), while coming into the office for staff meetings and as needed.
Who We Are
WisTAF is the leading state-based funder of legal aid in Wisconsin. We work with civil legal aid organizations in Wisconsin to increase access to justice. We oversee funds and invest in services and programs to help people resolve legal problems. A 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, WisTAF was created in 1986 by the Wisconsin Supreme Court to aid the courts and improve the administration of justice by administering funding for legal services to persons of limited means in non-criminal matters. What Your Work Will Include
Coordinate and assist with various aspects of WisTAF’s income and grants programs including:
- Annual certification process for all IOLTA-participating financial institutions
- Monthly/quarterly income remittance process
- Regular reporting on program income, interest rates, and fees
- Monthly grant expense reimbursement processes
- Periodic grant application and reporting cycles
- Basic office support and coordination of regular network maintenance
REQUIREMENTS
- An ability and desire to learn new skills, tools, and processes
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Detail-oriented individual with strong follow-through skills and the ability to prioritize multiple assignments
- Natural tendency to be proactive in offering ideas and new ways to enhance the work
- Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and flexible; work well both independently and on a team
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The starting salary for this part-time (20 hours per week) position is $26,000-$32,000, depending on experience.
