Current funding opportunity

Our Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse Legal Services grant program is accepting applications until 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25, 2026. This program is funded by federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) funds, thus all clients served must be TANF-eligible. Apply using the grants portal as described below.

Our online grants portal at wistaf.fluxx.io is the place to apply for any of our grants when they are accepting applications.

(The portal is also where current grant recipients submit reports and other forms related to their grants.)

To use the portal:

Create an account at wistaf.fluxx.io if you have not previously. (If you work for an existing WisTAF grant recipient, an account for you may exist in the portal even if you have never logged in; you may need to use the Forgot Password? link to login for the first time.)
Please designate only one individual from your organization to initiate the application. You will have an opportunity to add others from your organization as application contacts in the application form.
After logging in, click Apply for Funding in the left menu (under Information).
Scroll down to find the card for the grant program you are interested in.
Click the green Federal Application link in the grant program's card.
Important: your form will not auto-save. Please click Save or Save and Close regularly to avoid losing your work.

Future opportunities

As funds become available in WisTAF grant programs, we post the information and application materials in our online grants portal. You may want to consult our grants calendar for expected upcoming opportunities, or browse our grant policies & criteria or list of currently funded organizations for information. You can also sign up for email updates about grant opportunities.

Decision process

Completed application materials are reviewed and discussed by the WisTAF Board's Grants/Evaluation Committee, which is responsible for making grant recommendations to the full board. The full board is responsible for approving all grant awards.

In our ongoing annual grant programs, award decisions are typically announced in either October (Direct Legal Services) or June (Domestic Violence and Sexual Abuse Civil Legal Services).
